The Central Única dos Trabalhadores – CUT, on behalf of its affiliated unions, gathered in its Extraordinary National Congress held on March 1, 2024, expresses itself vehemently once again in the face of Israel's brutal and cowardly military attacks against the people Palestinian.
The act of firing firearms at starving civilians waiting for trucks to deliver food, killing 100 people and injuring another 750, must, together with many other war crimes committed by Israel, corroborate already indisputable evidence that we are facing genocide of the Palestinian people.
We reiterate our solidarity with President Lula, who has courageously denounced the criminal acts of the Netanyahu government, but we continue to demand that Brazil end military cooperation agreements with Israel. This cooperation cannot result in any benefit to our country, much less so that we can reach a ceasefire, spend public money on the expenses of Brazilian military and police officers in Israel who will learn fascist techniques of oppressing the people, and later apply them. in Brazil against the poor and peripheral black population.
