10:00am-11:30am Framing Palestine: Global Context and Politics Today

How do we understand Palestine in the global and regional context? What is Gaza's significant role historically and currently in shaping regional politics? And how do these global dynamics impact our organising in Britain, shaping solidarity efforts?

11:30am-12:00pm Coffee Break

12:00pm-1:30pm Palestinian Focus: Anti-Colonial History and Revolutionary Struggles

Israeli settler-colonialism has systematically aimed to destroy and fragment the Palestinian people. The genocide in Gaza is the culmination of decades of ongoing Nakba. Despite this, Palestinians have withstood and built revolutionary movements. This session will focus on the history of the Palestinian national liberation struggle, settler colonialism and class in Palestine, and the struggles of Palestinian citizens of Israel.

1:30pm-2:30pm Lunch

2:30pm-3:45pm Workshops

Parallel Breakout Sessions are a space for participants to connect in smaller groups and discuss specific aspects of Palestinian history, politics, and activism. The sessions focus on organising with workers and trade-unions, understanding Palestine for newcomers, and building ongoing campaigns like Stop Arming Israel, Energy Embargo, Abolition and Political Prisoners. Participants are encouraged to ask questions, share ideas, and collaborate on strategies to strengthen solidarity and activism for Palestine. Workshops include:

- Palestine Essentials - Introduction to History and Politics

- An Injury To One - Worker and Trade Union Organising for Palestine

- Arms Embargo - Building the Stop Arming Israel Campaign

- Abolition and the Fight for Palestinian Political Prisoners

- Fossil Capitalism and Strategies for an Energy Embargo on Israel

3:45-4:00pm Break

4:00-5:00pm From Palestine to Sudan: Uniting Against Imperialism, Building Our Movements

Over the past decade, the Middle East has witnessed electrifying uprisings and inspiring movements. This session will discuss the interconnected struggles against imperialism and how to strengthen our global solidarity.

6:30 pm - Social

We will gather to listen to music, reveal the winners of our amazing raffle prizes, and deepen relations as we build stronger organising communities.
